Ford revealed the all-new third generation Focus at the Detroit auto show last week. The C-segment vehicle is the latest evolution of the Ford kinetic design form language that has been developed by the team at the company's Merkenich design center near Cologne in Germany, under the leadership of executive design director Martin Smith. With a more dynamic form language bringing the vehicle in line with its smaller (Fiesta) and larger (Mondeo) siblings, the new Focus has been engineered to meet all customer and legislative requirements of the major worldwide markets.

Opel Flextreme: the lowdown
Vauxhall’s European sister brand Opel showed off its surprise at Frankfurt today – the new Flextreme concept car. Under that voluminous monocab body lies GM’s E-Flex plug-in hybrid system. It’s the latest trend in hybrids, allowing up to 30 miles of zero-emissions electric operation, after which the diesel engine kicks in to recharge the battery.
Meet the new 2015 Cadillac Escalade. Following up on last week's interior teaser shot, Cadillac is unveiling their newest luxury SUV at a soiree in New York City where designers are giving the full rundown on the next-generation Escalade. The show starts at 7:30 pm EDT.
